I’ve truly enjoyed meeting people in their homes and having real, face-to-face conversations about what matters most to them.
Wetaskiwin residents care deeply about this community, about their neighbourhoods, their safety, and their future. Their voices deserve to be heard. Their concerns, ideas, and hopes should guide the decisions we make as leaders.
Vote today at October 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Co-op Place Rec Hall (formerly known as the Drill Hall)

I believe…
We’re a community of diverse stories, multigenerational families, passionate clubs, and hardworking individuals. Together, we’re shaping a city where affordable living meets opportunity, where safety and growth go hand in hand, and where every voice, young and old, is heard and valued.
Let’s build a Wetaskiwin where collaboration replaces division, where ideas spark action, and where generations unite to create lasting change. This is our moment to believe in each other, to invest in our future, and to build a city we’re proud to call home.
I see the passion in the individuals that are making a difference. I hear their stories and their ideas. Wetaskiwin is a gem that needs some polish. Let’s build this community together!

“I want to feel safe.”
“Theft has increased over the last three years.”
“A few years ago, the city looked cleaner, city workers seemed to take pride in Wetaskiwin. What happened?”
“Why can’t we bring in businesses that build more, not just fast food places?”
These are just a few of the many comments I’ve heard while going door to door. I’m listening. Every day, I’ve made it a priority to connect with residents face-to-face, to hear your concerns and your hopes for Wetaskiwin.
I’ve heard your concerns about rising water rates, higher taxes than Edmonton, and the need for real change. I’ll be out in the community one last time tomorrow, spending 3 to 5 hours listening, learning, and connecting.
The right change begins when we listen to the people we serve. Listening isn’t the only part of the job—but it’s one of the most important.
A good City Councillor knows that meaningful decisions should be rooted in the voices of the people they serve. That’s what leadership should look like in Wetaskiwin.
**VOTING DAY** is October 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Co-op Place Rec Hall (formerly known as the Drill Hall)

Let’s talk, because your voice matters. With only a few days left in the campaign, my goal is to keep connecting with residents face-to-face. I’ll continue going door to door and hosting a few meet-and-greets before Monday’s election.
Catch me this Friday at:
Heritage Museum Coffee Café from 4–5 p.m.
Connect Tea, Heritage Museum from 5–7 p.m.
Wetaskiwin Legion from 7–9 p.m.
I’m always ready to listen, whether you’ve already voted or are still deciding. Your concerns, your ideas, and your solutions matter. Let’s talk about the future of Wetaskiwin, together.

As I go door to door, I’m often struck by how willing residents are to talk, simply because I’m there to listen. Whether they’ve already voted or not, I’m showing up to hear their concerns. One comment that really stayed with me was, “I’ve lived here all my life, and no one has ever asked for my opinion.” … That matters.
Decisions that affect Wetaskiwin should begin with the people who live here. This election is important, our city is at a pivotal moment, and choosing the right candidate can truly shape our future. I’m here for the community, and I’m committed to listening, learning, and leading with heart. Please don’t forget to vote. Your voice matters.

It is starting to get cold outside and our beloved Jays are on – Join me at Slicks for an impromptu meet and greet – I am there to listen …(and cheer)

Alongside transportation, we must also take a closer look at the timing and coordination of city services like snow removal. Some of our infrastructure could be change to incorporate better lighting and road maintenance. These directly impact safety, accessibility, and the everyday experience of our residents. Thoughtful planning and responsiveness in these areas show that we care, not just about how our city looks, but how it feels to live here.
I hear you concerns as I go door to door. I am listening to your voice, Let me be your voice as a City Councillor. Your experiences and your hopes for Wetaskiwin deserve to be represented with honesty, respect, and action.

I want to extend a special thank you to Connect Wetaskiwin for hosting such a dynamic workshop today. It was an important learning experience, not just for a City Council candidate like myself, but for key members of our community as well. I’ve always believed that everything starts with listening, and today reaffirmed that belief. Beginning with a learning conversation is essential. This workshop validated how I began my candidacy: by going door to door and simply listening to residents. Thank you, Heather from the Tamarack Institute, for an incredibly insightful and engaging presentation.

Transportation is becoming a growing concern, especially as our aging population increases. We need to address not only the gaps within our city, but also look beyond Wetaskiwin to ensure people have access to safe, reliable, and affordable ways to stay connected to healthcare, family, and essential services. Mobility shouldn’t be a barrier to dignity or independence, and it’s time we start planning for a future that includes everyone.
I am listening to your voice, and I’ve heard your concerns. Let me be your voice as a City Councillor. Your experiences and your hopes for Wetaskiwin deserve to be represented with honesty, respect, and action.

John F. Kennedy once said, “We must find time to stop and thank the people who make a difference in our lives.”
I truly believe this is something we should do every single day. But life moves fast, and sometimes we need a gentle reminder to pause, reflect, and simply say thank you. Thank you to those who lift us up, support us, and make our community stronger just by being part of it. Gratitude doesn’t cost a thing, but it means everything.
…Thank You
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone
