“Building Our Community—Bridging Voices, Ideas, and Generations.”
In Wetaskiwin, the strength of our city begins with the word we. The “we” comes before the “I” in Wetaskiwin, because progress is never built alone—it’s built together. This campaign is about listening, connecting, and creating a future that reflects the hopes of every resident, from every walk of life.
We’re a community of diverse stories, multigenerational families, passionate clubs, and hardworking individuals. Together, we’re shaping a city where affordable living meets opportunity, where safety and growth go hand in hand, and where every voice—young and old—is heard and valued.
Let’s build a Wetaskiwin where collaboration replaces division, where ideas spark action, and where generations unite to create lasting change. This is our moment to believe in each other, to invest in our future, and to build a city we’re proud to call home.
One City. Many Stories. Shared Vision. Let’s build it—together.
My Passion and Commitment
Hi, I’m running for Wetaskiwin City Council because I care deeply about the future of our community.
I’m not here to make empty promises about raising or lowering taxes—
I’m here to hold decision-makers accountable, thoroughly investigate every financial move, and ensure that any changes are justified, responsible, and in the best interest of our residents, who deserve safety, security, and access to the amenities they need to thrive.
I approach city finances the same way I would a household or business budget: with accountability, transparency, and a focus on what truly matters.
I’m running because of my passion to make things better—I’ve always believed in taking action, not standing by. As our aging population grows, I’m committed to being their voice at the table and working toward a safer, more supportive place to live.”
I’m here to listen. Every voice in Wetaskiwin deserves to be heard—from families and seniors to business owners and young people. I want to help our city grow through smart investments in tourism and local business, while making sure our seniors have the transportation, services, and support they need to live with dignity.
Safety, security, and quality of life are not luxuries—they’re essentials. Families should feel free to grow and play here, knowing our infrastructure is up to date and our neighborhoods are cared for. I believe council isn’t about personal agendas—it’s about serving the people. The needs of Wetaskiwin residents must come first, always.
I’m not running for me—I’m running for Wetaskiwin. Let’s build a city where everyone feels heard, supported, and proud to call home.
I see the passion in Wetaskiwin—clubs, organizations, and residents working tirelessly to build a better future. Their dedication is the heartbeat of our community, yet many are struggling to stay afloat, facing challenges with funding and volunteers.
That’s why I’m stepping forward—not just to run, but to represent. I want to be your voice at the table, the voice of those who give so much and ask for so little. My passion is rooted in service, in listening, and in standing up for the people who make Wetaskiwin thrive behind the scenes.
At City Hall, I will champion our grassroots efforts, advocate for sustainable support, and ensure that every club, every organization, and every resident feels heard, valued, and empowered.
Together, we can build a city that lifts each other up—because when we support those who serve, we strengthen the soul of our community.
As a candidate for city council, I’m committed to increasing transparency and accountability—residents deserve to know what’s happening, why it’s happening, and to have a voice in the process.
We must ensure that every decision reflects the needs and values of our community.
In Wetaskiwin, the strength of our city begins with the word we.
The “we” comes before the “I” in Wetaskiwin, because progress is never built alone—it’s built together.
Who Am I?
I’m a compassionate mother of four, a tireless volunteer, and a proud advocate for our community. I’ve worn many hats—Distinguished Toastmaster, President of Parent Council, Vice President of Football, President of Soccer, coach, manager, cheering parent, Shut-in visitor, and even the neighborhood kids taxi service. Wherever there was a need, I stepped up.
For over 13 years, I worked in government and then juggling multiple jobs while raising a family full-time. I know what it means to get things done, to be accountable, and to show up—day after day—with purpose and passion.
I’ve seen firsthand the challenges our clubs and organizations face. I’ve felt the strain of limited resources and the need for stronger support. That’s why I’m running—to be your voice at City Hall. I’m accessible, I’m committed, and I’m deeply passionate about building a secure, safe, and thriving Wetaskiwin.
This isn’t just a campaign—it’s a promise. A promise to listen, to lead with integrity, and to fight for the future our families deserve.
Because in Wetaskiwin, the “we” comes before the “I.” And together, we build a community we’re proud to call home.
